NUPTIAL PARTIES
I rarely shoot these kinds of things but I ended up at a few of them last year. This set is from two different really fun weddings that I shot and I've just thrown in a handful of my favorite images. You'll notice that I don't take very normal wedding images. I shoot in a very objective looking documentary style and I avoid any sort of posing or set up at all costs and I also eschew synthetic lighting.
I try to be as subtle as possible. To gain the confidence and trust of the wedding party and then to shoot as closely and as quietly as possible. I'm not all that interested in clean shots with simple composition, rather, I try to find different perspectives that show real emotion when the subject doesn't even know they are presenting it.
